Senin
20 Agustus 2018 lalu saya menghadiri kelas Leisure Business seperti biasanya. Disana
daya mendapatkan materi yaitu apa saja yang meliputi leisure organization ;
yaitu catering, accommodation, transportation, visitor attraction, recreational
facilities, & intermediaries, government.
Kemudian
saya juga menjadi mengerti mengenai apa itu time share, contoh dari time share
ini adalah hotel vasa Surabaya, awalnya saat hotel vasa awal buka pemilik hotel
vasa menjual kamarnya ke orang lain, and orang lain tersebut menyewakan ke
guest, nah hal ini yang disebut dengan bisnis time share.
Dan
juga saya mempelajari mengenai tugas tiap divisi di leisure business.

and advertisement, arranging interviews and selecting new staff to work in
organization.
è Induction of new staff – this involves introducing
them to the organization.
è Professional development and training of staff.
è Disciplinary procedures and dismissal.
è Motivation and staff morate.
è Health & safety
è Duty rotas & shift
è Working with trades unions about working conditions.

Finance role of department :
è Raising finance for new products
è Analyzing past cost and working out where savings
could be made
è Payroll
è Income and receipts – recording
è Paying bills and invoices to suppliers
è Preparing accounts – on a regular basis.
è The admin department supports the other areas of the
organization
è A range of clerical work
è The admin department may well be responsible
è Site management

Marketing & sales role of department :
è Market research
è Promotional strategies
è Maintaining & developing the customer database
è Sales & pricing
è Product – developing the new products, identifying
target markets for products.
è Attending trade shows and meeting customers
è Monitoring sales of different products

Information Technology role of department :
è This department is in charge of training staff to
use the IT systems, updating materials on websites, troubleshooting any problems
and maintaining the organizations technology.
